The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has already released the preliminary schedule for the 2026 Common Entrance Tests. Notably, the exam—formerly known as TS EAMCET—is now officially referred to as TG EAPCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test).

Important Exam Dates

The exam dates have been officially announced, while application dates remain tentative based on the academic calendar.

  • Official Notification: February 2026
  • Online Application Starts: March 2026
  • Last Date to Apply (No Late Fee): April 2026
  • Exam Date: Engineering (MPC): May 9, 10 & 11, 2026 (Confirmed)
  • Results Announcement: June 2026

Eligibility for EAMCET Andhra Pradesh 2026

Before applying for the TG EAPCET 2026 notification, ensure you meet these criteria:

1. Nationality

Must be an Indian National, PIO, or OCI cardholder.

2. Domicile

You must belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and satisfy "local/non-local" status requirements.

3. Educational Qualification

Must have passed or appeared for the 10+2 (Intermediate) exam with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (MPC).

  • Minimum Marks: At least 45% marks in group subjects (40% for reserved categories).

4. Age Limit

Minimum 16 years as of December 31, 2026 (17 years for certain courses like B.Tech Dairy Technology). There is generally no upper age limit for Engineering/Pharmacy.

Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT).

  • Duration: 3 Hours
  • Medium: Bilingual (English & Telugu or English & Urdu).
  • Total Questions:160
  • Total Marks: 160
  • Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer
  • Negative Marking: None
The syllabus typically covers 100% of the first-year and second-year Intermediate topics (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology) prescribed by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana.
