For the TG EAMCET 2026 (now officially known as TG EAPCET), the Agriculture and Pharmacy (A&P) stream is the primary gateway for students aiming for B.Sc. Agriculture, Horticulture, and related professional courses in Telangana.


Important Dates (Tentative)

While the official notification usually drops in February 2026, the timeline generally follows this pattern:

  • Notification Release: February 20, 2026
  • Online Application Starts: February 25, 2026
  • Last Date to Apply (No Late Fee): April 4, 2026
  • Correction Window: April 6 – 8, 2026
  • Admit Card Release: April 27, 2026
  • TG EAPCET Exam (Agriculture): May 4 – 5, 2026
  • Result Declaration: June 2026

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Agriculture stream, you must meet the following:

  • Nationality: Must be an Indian National, PIO, or OCI cardholder.
  • Domicile: Must belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and satisfy local/non-local status requirements.
  • Educational Qualification: Passed or appearing in 10+2 (Intermediate) with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Physics, and Chemistry (BiPC): Some courses like Agricultural Engineering may require Mathematics (MPC).
  • Minimum Marks: 45% aggregate in 10+2 (40% for reserved categories).
  • Age Limit: * Minimum: 17 years as of December 31, 2026.
    • Maximum: 22 years for general category (25 years for SC/ST).

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The exam is conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT).

  • Exam Structure:
    • Total Questions: 160 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
    • Duration: 3 Hours (180 minutes).
    • Marking Scheme: +1 for every correct answer; No Negative Marking.
    • Medium: Bilingual (English & Telugu or English & Urdu).

  • Normalisation: Since the exam is held in multiple shifts, scores are "normalised" to ensure fairness across different difficulty levels.
  • Weightage: As of current trends, the 25% weightage for Intermediate marks has been waived, meaning your EAPCET Rank is determined 100% by your entrance exam score.
  • Qualifying Marks: General category students must score a minimum of 25% (40 out of 160) to qualify for a rank. There is no minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST candidates.
